Last Wednesday the Brebeuf soccer team debuted in the annual North Central scrimmage. The Braves fought out a hard win in a 5-4 high scoring game, with a hat trick from Alec Bevelhimer and goals from Will Morelock and Stefan Boes.

Then, in the first official game of the season on Tuesday, the Braves fell against a good Avon team. After going down 3-0 in the first half, the braves came out in the second half and scored but were unable to seal the comeback. Ending in a 3-1 final score.

The second half performance in the Avon game shows that the Braves don’t give up, revealing promise for the rest of the season. According to Aidan Duncan the goal of this season is, “To go out and win state.”
