Bienvenue à Indianapolis! The French exchange program at Brebeuf

Elisabeth Porter ‘23, Staff Writer

The nine French exchange students arrived in Indiana on Friday, October 18. Brebeuf has been doing an exchange program with a Jesuit school in Toulouse. The students come over with a chaperone and stay for two weeks. Unfortunately the exchange students leave on October 31st, so they won’t be able to experience a classic American Halloween.

In the mornings, the French students take classes with their host and in the afternoons they go on field trips. Today they go to Lucas Oil Stadium and they are also going to the Eiteljorg Museum and Butler University. Over the weekend, the host families can go on trips, visit state parks, or whatever they think will be fun for the exchange students. Brebeuf students studying French usually go to France during spring break for two weeks.
