On Tuesday, we celebrate the holiday of Mardis Gras. Mardis Gras originated in Europe and is always celebrated the day before Ash Wednesday in the Christian tradition. It’s other name, “Fat Tuesday,” refers to the day where Christians would feast in preparation for Lent. The largest celebration of Mardi Gras occurs in New Orleans every year, but we have a few of our own small celebrations within Brebeuf that you can attend!
