Because of the emphasis on self-quarantine during our extended break due to the coronavirus, I had plenty of freetime on my hands that I didn’t know how to fill. I decided to try different hobbies that I was always interested in, but never had the time to do. One of these hobbies was watching all of the movies that I had heard so many people praise. With that being said, here’s two movies that I watched over break that you should watch on your own freetime.

  • Inception (2010)

I had always heard people talking about how mind-bending Inception was, and it’s been referred to as a top 5 movie of all time by several people. I decided to give it a watch to see what all the hype was about, and I’m so glad I did. You should definitely watch this movie if you want your mind to be absolutely blown. It also features an incredible cast with Leonardo DiCaprio at the helm of it all. This is also a movie that you can watch multiple times, no, need to watch multiple times in order to fully understand the meaning and significance of it all. This movie will have you at the edge of your seat until literally the very last second, so this is a must-watch for sure.

  • Coco (2017)

I know this may be an unpopular opinion, but I think that Coco is the best Pixar movie. It combines both a powerful story with incredible animated characters and scenes to make a movie for all ages to see. The music in the film is unbelievable, and I think it’s great how it educates people on the Mexican holiday, Día de los Muertos. However, I have to warn you that this movie is a real tear-jerker, especially if you’ve ever lost a loved one.
